Phyllis Arnott Equity Scholarship - Ceramics and Design Qualifications
Here are the needed Qualifications which any interested in program must meet.
- Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen residing in NSW.
- Be enrolled in an Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) accredited course at TAFE NSW Hornsby.
- Demonstrate educational disadvantage and financial hardship.
- Show commitment and motivation to study, successfully complete the course, and seek employment.
- Identify with one or more of the following categories:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Living with a disability, impairment, or long-term medical condition
- Long-term unemployed (longer than six months) and seeking to re-enter the workforce
- Centrelink benefit recipient/experiencing low socio-economic status
- Youth at risk
- Experiencing or having experienced domestic and family violence
- Experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Living in rural or remote areas of NSW
- Complete all parts of the application form correctly and attach all required supporting documents.
Additional Requirements:
- Students under 18 years old must obtain parent/guardian consent.
- The scholarship is NOT available for international students.
- Employees of TAFE NSW are NOT eligible to apply.
