Phyllis Arnott Equity Scholarship - Ceramics and Design Qualifications

Here are the needed Qualifications which any interested in program must meet.

  1. Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen residing in NSW.
  2. Be enrolled in an Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) accredited course at TAFE NSW Hornsby.
  3. Demonstrate educational disadvantage and financial hardship.
  4. Show commitment and motivation to study, successfully complete the course, and seek employment.
  5. Identify with one or more of the following categories:
  6. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  7. Living with a disability, impairment, or long-term medical condition
  8. Long-term unemployed (longer than six months) and seeking to re-enter the workforce
  9. Centrelink benefit recipient/experiencing low socio-economic status
  10. Youth at risk
  11. Experiencing or having experienced domestic and family violence
  12. Experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  13. Living in rural or remote areas of NSW
  14. Complete all parts of the application form correctly and attach all required supporting documents.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Students under 18 years old must obtain parent/guardian consent.
  2. The scholarship is NOT available for international students.
  3. Employees of TAFE NSW are NOT eligible to apply.
