International Travel Grants - Bowling Green State University (BGSU)

(BGSU) is a public research university located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Established in 1910, BGSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines, including arts, sciences, business, and education. The university is known for its strong commitment to research, innovation, and student success.


Travel Grant is open to full-time undergraduate students who are presenting research, scholarly, or creative work at professional conferences, competitions, or juried exhibitions. Applicants must have a faculty mentor and be officially registered for the event. Preference is given to students traveling within the United States, while international travel funding is considered on a case-by-case basis.

Qualified persons are entitled to $200 as they continue in the programme.

 International Travel Grants - Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Qualifications

Here are the criterias which any willing and ready to be part of this  programme must meet.

  1. Be a full-time undergraduate student at Bowling Green State University.
  2. Have a faculty mentor.
  3. Be registered to present at a professional conference, competition, juried exhibition, or performance.
  4.  research (paper, poster, research, performance) or participate orally in the event.
  5. Students may not receive more than one travel grant per academic year.
Additional Qualifications

  • Evidence of acceptance of presentation or participation.
  • Reference letter(s) from faculty mentor(s) supporting the student’s participation.
