WYCUP Scholarships
The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) is a leading global trade association and development organization dedicated to advancing credit unions and cooperative financial institutions worldwide. Founded in 1971, WOCCU represents a vast network of member organizations across more than 100 countries, serving over 375 million individuals. Its mission is to improve lives through credit unions by fostering financial inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.

WYCUP Scholarships Qualifications
Completed application form with sponsor endorsement.
- Proof of age (passport, driver’s license, birth certificate, or other official documentation).
- A maximum 5-minute video addressing the questions noted in the application form.
- Be 40 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2025.
- Demonstrate passion, leadership, and commitment to improving lives through financial cooperatives.
- Be an active employee or volunteer with a credit union or cooperative financial institution.
- Be endorsed by a credit union, cooperative financial institution, or a national/regional association affiliated with WOCCU.
- Have no prior history as a WYCUP scholarship recipient or as a World Council employee.
- Preference is given to those engaged with local young professional networks or working to create such networks.
