- Rice
- Groundnut oil
- Tomatoes
- Fresh pepper
- Meat (Goat. Chicken, etc)
- Maggi
- Salt
- Onion
- Spice (any recommended stew sauce seasoning)
- Tin tomatoes (optional)

- Blender/Grinder
- Bowl

How to prepare Rice and Stew in Nigeria
There are a few steps to complete after bowling your rice with or without salt, as listed below.
- Place the pot on fire
- Pour measured quantity of groundnut oil into the pot and allow to get hot
- Add salt and stir
- Put your steamed meat or fish, filtering the fluid to fry
- Put the already sliced onions into the pot
- Pour the grinded or blended tomatoes/fresh pepper into the pot and stir as you fry
- Add your seasoning along with Maggi and stir
- Put the fluid of the steamed meat/fish and stir
- Add few cups or water to reduce the thickness by making it a little watery
- After cooking for sometime, take it down from the fire
