History of Lagos State University (LASU)
Way back 1983, the origin of Lagos State University, can be traced. The school had only Commerce, Law and Medicine as well as Business Administration as faculties during its inception. The school is a state owned University, which is funded by maintained by the Lagos State Government, located in Ojo, Lagos State. As a matter of fact, this school has three major campuses, which are Epe, Ojo and Ikeja. This campuses are well equipped with competent tutors, for comprehensive learning. The school is ranked as the second world best university in Nigeria, with faculties which includes, faculty of law, faculty of social sciences, faculty of engineering, faculty of arts amongst others.
